Performer Bio: Patrick Bowman


Native of Dundas Ontario, baritone Patrick Bowman is a musician currently completing a Master’s Degree in Performance at Western University. Highlights from Patrick’s performing career include: Narrator in the world premiere of John Beckwith’s Wendake/Huronia (Brookside Music Association with The Toronto Consort Orchestra), American in the Ontario premiere of The Vinedressers (Highland Opera Studio), What a Wonderful World (Victoria Playhouse Petrolia starring Ben Vereen), and the world premiere of John Beckwith’s song set, Four Short Songs.

In the near future, Patrick will appear as the bass soloist in Messiah through the Stratford Music Festival and the Blyth Music Festival, and then as Papageno in UWOpera’s production of Die Zauberflöte.

Patrick also works as a Music Director, and has contributed to projects including Fun Home (Calithumpian Theatre Company), The Medium (Abridged Opera Company), Footloose (Theatre Aquarius Program), and The Drowsy Chaperone (OKTC).
